55 champions from around the globe meet in Amsterdam for four days of fierce competition at the 2018 World Barista Championship, from 20-23 June.
Venue
The World Barista Championship takes place at the RAI center, which will be teeming with coffee enthusiasts as they gather to connect at the SCA World of Coffee show.
Competition
Competitors in the WBC prepare 4 espressos, 4 milk drinks, and 4 original signature drinks to exacting standards in 15 minutes. While progressing through the main championship, competitors simultaneously participate in the WBC Teams Competition — rewarding group support and collaboration.
Between competitors, there’s a chance to sample international specialty roasters at the WBC Espresso Bar, and filter options at the Brew Bar, title-sponsored by Marco. Cheer along on social media with the hashtag #WBCAmsterdam.
