My name is Han and I’m a barista from Bosgaurus Coffee. I love talking and making friends!
What are you excited to do while you are in Seoul?:
Of course, I want to wander around the city to get nice coffees and experience the coffee scene there.
Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:
Vietnam National Barista Championship 2016 – 1st Place
Vietnam National Barista Championship 2017 – 1st Place
Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize, or who helped you to prepare for the WBC?:
I want to thank my team at Bosgaurus Coffee, who have tried their best to support me from the very beginning. And I want to thank the farmers, they’ve provided me with the best beans.
How do you see the coffee industry changing in the future?:
It’s really interesting to see coffee industry is changing rapidly. New technology, new technique and new trends are born roughly every day so it’s hard to predict what’s coming next.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?:
I’m going to be a trainer because I love to inspire people, especially who have just decided to choose coffee as a part of their lives.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Everything I do is usually involved with coffee (hang out for coffee, travel for coffee…) so I haven’t got an answer yet!
