Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize, or who helped you to prepare for the WBC?:
There is a whole group of people. First of all my closest team, Paula and Kamila, the whole Polish SCA Chapter for support, the guys from WarszawskaSzkołaBaristów, my parents, and all the supporters that keep sending be wishes through internet, etc.
How do you see the coffee industry changing in the future?:
I think that we will know more and more about the science of extraction and that will help us prepare even better coffee in more consistent way. Also I think the machines and grinders will be a great support to deliver as good product as it is possible. We as baristas will go back to what is most imporant – education of our customers with extraordinary service that will provide knowledge and great experience to every coffee user.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?:
I see myself as a coach for young and talented baristas from Poland to do well, not only in competition but also in everyday work.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Football, tennis, and music 🙂
